Officials at Bombay Hospital, speaking on condition of anonymity, said a Japanese man had died there and nine Europeans had been admitted, three of them in critical condition with gunshots.
When I read news reports like these, it saddens me to think that, most people just read the report and say, ah.. so sad, etc, etc As for me, I have flashes in my mind, what if that random person who drowned/got knocked down/got shot/got beheaded/got bombed/got raped & killed/got kidnapped/got held hostage was someone i loved & cared about deeply, how would it feel. What if it was my mum, my dad, my brother, my friends, my relatives, how would it have felt. Scary thoughts. Sometimes it makes me wonder, where is the god that everyone prays to when such things happen. Maybe thats why i'm so apathetic towards religion. by the way, this particular answer on yahoo intrigued me, i think it applies to all religions though.
I would like to have faith in myself and the people who are actually here helping me.
